  • The composition brings together several recognisable elements of Notting Hill — colourful townhouses, Portobello Road, street lamps, the iconic red London bus and the lively street environment.
  • Small details such as birds, flowers, clouds, signs, handwritten phrases and market objects create little visual discoveries throughout the artwork.
  • The lone market-goer adds a human element without overwhelming the composition, while the open road and generous white areas create a sense of movement.
  • What makes the artwork distinctive is the buildings lean slightly and appear almost animated, giving the architecture a quirky personality and a depth in  scene for the viewer.
  • The artwork essentially turns Notting Hill into a wearable illustrated adventure — colourful, imperfect, energetic.
